As mature Christians, the capacity to love goes far beyond human, carnal/fleshly thinking. The Lord of the Heavens and of the Earth and all that is therein, has endowed, embraced and given to His Church a true pattern of how the love of God should be portrayed. Many are deceived in believing that because a tear is shed at church that this is the love of God.

There are many today who profess the love of God and yet their soul is just dry, dead and devoid of life of any kind. Their capacity to love is based upon the carnal and not the spiritual. Let us be “beholding” the very one who bestowed His love upon us, lest we too walk in error and neglect of those to whom we must minister too!

“Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us …” Members of God's family are truly privileged people. We are being admonished (as the sons of God) to BEHOLD! To stop & consider, take a look at, observe what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us. This truly cannot be an ordinary love.

The love of the father is only bestowed to His children. To those who have repented of the sinful life and are now rejoicing in the liberty of the sin free life! As a sinner there is truly no life in the soul. Only the love of Christ can transform the dead and carnal soul! Only the love of Christ can shake the foundations in ones body so that they can BEHOLD the love of God and be redeemed.

We must be those living epistles to the family of God, and also to the sinner, of the love of God freely at work in our lives. Just as we BEHOLD our Lord and Saviour, people must see a reflection of that same love in Gods ministers. His love was given to us, bestowed upon us, so that we are enabled to be about the work of our Father. There is no greater joy than to witness the transformation of the loveless soul to a soul full of the Fathers love! “…That we should be called the sons of God:”

This is the distinct difference that is bestowed upon the true believer. They are now part of a select, separate and pure people called the sons of God. They have been transformed from death unto life! They have obeyed the call of God upon their life. They have decided that having the love of Jesus Christ shed abroad in their hearts is the true life.

In Romans 5:5 we read… And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Christ died for the sinner! There is no other way to the Father than through Jesus Christ! To be called a son of God one must be born again and living in the Kingdom of God! Every person upon this earth has tasted sin. Not one is worthy of being called a son of God. Yet because of the love of the Father we can now be called the sons of God. We need not be ashamed of this blessed calling upon our lives! There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.

(Romans 8:1) There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Condemnation only comes to those who are ashamed and have lost their way.

There is no shame in being a son of God. There is only great freedom and liberty, peace and hope. Shame is a snare to the soul and a bondage. Gods love came to destroy the works and snares of the devil in the souls of the confused and the soul in confusion.

The love of God shed abroad in the heart of the true believer is a witness to those around of the work of the Spirit in their hearts. There must be a clear picture and understanding to the minister that the love of God has no earthly carnal attachments! The love of God does not cling to the world or the things of the world.

Worldly love is a love of lust and a love of the things of the world. The love of God is a love for the lost to see them saved from the world! This is the true witness to the unbelieving soul that regardless of the hold of the world and the things of the world upon their soul, the love of God can still save them. The love of God can redeem them, and put them in their rightful place in the Kingdom of God. There is only hope in the Kingdom of God. There is no hopelessness!

There is no depression or distraught, emotional souls. There is only steadfast, secure, fixed souls set upon their task to see souls delivered because of the love of God within their hearts.

“… therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.”

The world (in their physical unsaved state) cannot and will never know Christ.

Their state of being is carnal. There is no physical manipulation that will enable them to “know” Christ while in this state. The soul of the sinner will surely die unless they are saved from their sin. The sinner can never have the mind of Christ or the love of Christ. This is a snare from false church doctrine . This will only trap the ignorant souls to believe that being like Christ is achievable in their physical state. These are those who “know not” Christ. They are false preachers, teachers who are not looking to live on the straight and narrow but on the broad path. This will surely lead to their destruction and other people’s destruction who are part of their congregations!

The true Christian minister is NOT aligned to anything that is fixed to a worldly state. We believe in the saving of the soul by the Spirit of God. There are many who profess this but do not adhere and live this! There should be a very distinct difference in the minister’s portrayal of the Christian life . The true child of God desires the sinner to come to Christ so that they can be free of the world and the burdens attached to it. The false believer is persuaded to think that worldly desires and pleasures are acceptable. That Gods love overlooks these things and that Gods love excuses these things. They are truly under an illusion and deceived.

1 John 3:7-10... Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Praise be to God that His word makes it very clear that His children are righteous and clean. Those born of God have been enabled to live this way, until the end of time because of the love of God in their souls. God has transformed the sin sick soul to the liberated pure soul! The redeemed saint has no more desire to sin. Their life is now given to Christ. Their choice in the temptations of the sinful life are no longer an issue in their life. They have passed from death unto life. This is the true separation of the sinner or the saint. There is no in-between. Gods love does not provide an escape route to enable the child of the devil to continue in sin. Gods love provides a way out of sin and a way into the Kingdom of God!

John 5:24... Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

God in His mercy and love has given to us His word, His truth. The blood that was shed by our Lord & Saviour at Calvary was shed so that the sinner could pass from death unto life. Everlasting life can only be received upon repentance from the world and the sin of the world. Everlasting life is not temporary it is eternal. Everlasting life in the soul of the true believer is evident because of the love of God within Him. There is no other way to eternal life but through Christ and Him crucified. Everlasting life has been given to the penitent soul because of God’s love for us. Praise and glory be to Him!

1 John 5:11-12... And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Let's remember that a minister in the family of God has given his life to Christ to be used by Christ. We cannot do anything without the enabling of Christ within.

We cannot discern, we cannot preach or teach without the true love of God in our hearts. The minister of God's family must see the soul of the saint and the soul of the sinner as Jesus saw them. This life that has been given to you and me, in the name of Jesus, for a job to do.

There's no place for pretense or selfishness. The minister must represent the love of God to the world in the name of Jesus. Gods love cannot be represented by pretenders. Their love is fleshly, carnal and will only reap division and deception. Gods love in the heart of the believer reaps rewards in the Kingdom of Heaven.

The true witness to the world is God’s amazing love in the life of the minister. God’s amazing love will be evident in the preaching of the minister. God’s amazing love will be evident in the teaching of the minister. God’s amazing love will draw the sin sick soul to the fountain of grace. God’s amazing love will keep the soul of the saint till the day their physical life is taken from them. God’s amazing love will transform, redeem and enable the penitent soul to live unto Christ and him crucified. This love is so amazing and so divine it demands my life, my soul ,my all.
