Welcome to The Spirek Family Missionary Blog

The Spireks are a family of missionaries serving in Ukraine
with CrossWorld whose mission is to worship God, love people
and declare the good news of eternal salvation by grace
through faith in Jesus Christ.

We look forward to sharing our missionary experiences with you. After having spent about a year in the United States raising support, dealing with vehicle and house repairs, and going through a pregnancy we are now about ready to return to Ukraine. Our flight leaves on July 10th. So, we are busy planning, packing, selling our belonings and obtaining passports and visas for the trip. In spite of the challenges this has been a successful home ministry. We thank everyone who participated, hosted us in their homes, prayed for us and provided of their finances that we might return to our ministries. David is looking forward to sharing the good news of Christ and developing devoted followers of Jesus in Ukraine through preaching and teaching. Kim is looking forward to serving the church and missionary community as well as home schooling our children. Austin and Karyn are looking forward to playing with their Ukrainian friends. We ask for your continued prayers as there are still many transitions ahead.
