"…whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."
A Pot of PURIFIED WATER
The tea used to make a cup of tea is very important. It is the source of the flavor and the pleasure of drinking it. We would find it difficult to enjoy it without water. It is the mixing of the tea with the water that produces the final Cup of Tea.
I can see the Tea as the Word of God and the water as the Spirit of God. Mixed together they produce the experience of receiving the Word into our being. To just chew on a tea leaf or sprinkle some ground tea onto something we eat would not be as pleasurable as sipping a cup from a deliciously brewed pot of tea. I think too often we chew on a particular scripture, find it bitter and toss it aside.
The Father knows just how to brew His tea. Not only for our pleasure, but He knows our needs and therefore He knows just the amount of water to use and how long to let it steep. When we partake of His Tea we are assured of a perfect cup. JM
