A LISTENING EAR Tea
We all seem to be ready and willing to give others advice when they are going through a hard time. It doesn’t matter the circumstances, we are ready with the answer. Too often all the person needs is a listening ear. They already know the solution. I get a lot of phone calls from people that just want to talk. When they are finished they say, “Thanks for listening to me.”

I find that an occasional “yes, I understand” is all that is necessary. But there is one thing that must accompany the listening ear and that is "A CLOSED MOUTH." People need someone they can share their heart with and know that it will not be shared with others. JM
