Dear All,
When I was three years of age, my father and mother divorced. My father choose not to be a part of my life and I have no contact with him to this day. My mother never remarried.
My mother does have a "boyfriend" . He is the closest person to a earthly father I have ever had. His name is David Dean. David is a retired police officer who loves his family and loves to fish.
David has been ill and the doctors have been uable to determine why he has been loosing weight and having headaches. During much testing a spot has been located on his lung. It is about the size of a nickel. The doctor told him they could do a needle biopsy but that he (the doctor) did not trust them. David asked the doctor "If I were your daddy, what would you advise me to do?" The doctor said, "I would advise the removal of that lobe of your lung." Now much testing starts to make sure David is strong enough for the surgery and also to give the doctor better insight into a course of action for treatment.
First and foremost I pray God's will be done. I pray for God to work his healing touch through the doctor (Frank E. Schmidt) and for all involved to feel and hold the hand of God in this situation.
I'm trying very hard to not be anxious:
Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
